We offer custom configurations of microphone cables for applications with an assortment of

the most common of the older “vintage” microphones. One of the more common “vintage”

HMF series mic cables utilizes the 2501F Switchcraft brand “screw on” or “bottlecap” type

connector that terminates on the opposite end to a ¼” phone plug. We also offer the W3M

and W4M series vintage mic cables that utilize what we now refer to as the Wire Pro

connectors. These connectors are similar in appearance to a standard XLR connector but has

a locking ring at the top of the connector that screws on to the mating connector on the

microphone to provide a means for locking the two connections together. The W3M is a 3-

pin connector and the W4M is a 4-pin connector. Since both of these connectors were used

for high impedance and low impedance applications, each can be wired to meet your specific

needs. Please contact your Quantum sales representative for more information concerning the
